I had forgotten about these, so I was presently surprised when I opened up the box to find my two 3-packs of Field Notes, with pen and pencil, and even a Coudal Partners’ sticker, included. Very sweet.
Don’t know why, but I’m obsessed with stuff. I subscribe subscribed to Valleyschwag. I frequent macZOT! and regularly buy. I’ve woot!ed several times, including my wife’s favorite, the Roomba. What is it with all this stuff, that I’m so obsessed with it? Yes, I’m a geek, and proud of it – maybe that’s why I like all this gear, schwag, and cool applications, regardless of how much I actually need them. Most of the stuff I purchase I’m pretty good about stepping back and asking if I really need it, but when I get to macZOT and there’s a mystery bundle for $4, I’m an absolute guarantee to click the buy button.
Anyhow, I planned on elaborating on this story more, but ran out of time because I was too busy watching the damn 2-day woot off! Ugh!
So here’s to those who can’t get away from STUFF.

Well, the great Valleyschwag continues, despite tough times in the schwag-economy and a tough review trolling-post from a well-known unknown company chump. Though a recession of sorts seems to be at hand in schwagworld, with schwag-providers dropping off, and just a general shortage of schwag around the world, a lot of us still eagerly anticipate whatever ends up in our VS4 package. VS has done a good job handling its critic(s) and while there was a bit of a lull in communication, they seem to have picked up a bit, and are still #1 in my book in the way they communicate with their customers.
We woke up this morning with a song in our hearts and a spring in our step. Nothing can bring us down today, not even a full blown attack on our integrity in the comments section of our previous blog post. No, today is a Good Day because before dinner we’ll take a truckload of schwadellic goodness to the post office.
