I’ve Upgraded to Leopard…

Posted by motherduce on October 30th, 2007

No problems whatsoever. Took me a while to organize my backup drive so I could make a clone of my Macbook drive, but it was worth it (just in case). Took about 45 minutes or so to do the upgrade. Be sure to check the Customization option when installing or else all those damn printer drivers will automatically install.

At least Apple automatically upgrades ONLY the language files you have already installed on your system.

Wacom Bamboo - Initial Thoughts

Posted by motherduce on September 27th, 2007

My Wacom Bamboo arrived on Monday, though I’ve just now been able to unveil it and give it a quick test run. Keep in mind it’s midnight, so it was a very quick test run.

Most interesting thing about the unveiling? The packaging. Eerily similar to another company’s laptop packaging. Nice work Wacom.

Obviously, I need to adjust the settings to fit my needs, as seen below, thanks to Sketchcast (more here).

Now I just need to find a place for this damn thing in my already busy, cluttered workspace.
