Paul Attacked by Pit Bull
Randomness March 18th, 2007Fellow blogger Paul Burd, who’s blogs (main and environmental) I read often, was attacked by a Pit Bull in Phoenix last week. That is crazy. I’m glad he’s okay. Seems I hear once every month or so about a Pit Bull attack. I wonder why these dogs haven’t been outlawed yet. A friend of mine in college had one, but I stayed away from the damn thing because I never knew if it would snap.
Maggie (our dog) and I were attacked by a Pit Bull while visiting
Phoenix. We’ll both be OK, but we’re going to be recovering for a while.
Do any of you have, or know someone who has, a pit bull? What are your thoughts?

I work at a vet’s office, and see lots of Pits. One of our best clients is a Pit breeder. They are great family dogs, but, and this is the key part, they should not be around other dogs. As long as they are kept away from other dogs, they can be great dogs.

I respect your opinion, but I would not let one near my kids, no matter if other dogs were around or not.
